Disadvantages of JCI

• High cost (41,000USD not including transport, food and lodging)
• If the company (hospital) has any quality problems, it will not be JCI approved. This would lead to the company losing money.
• Cost of the accreditation consultation service in preparation to accreditation will further increase the cost
